Dr. Glenda Goodwin

Dr. Glenda Goodwin was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She attended University of California, Davis where she earned her bachelor of science. After graduation, Dr. Goodwin was accepted to University of Southern California where she earned her medical degree. After earning her Doctorate in Medicine, Dr. Goodwin completed her specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Hawaii. Residency and motherhood combined when Dr. Goodwin gave birth to her son, Max.

As a practitioner of Medicine, Dr. Goodwin has been an award winning laparoscopic surgeon and has a special interest in pediatric and adolescent gynecology. Dr. Goodwin strongly believes in providing health education to all ages. She has been a strong advocate of personal empowerment in healthcare.

Dr. Goodwin takes pride in giving back to the community and she does so by teaching.  She has spoken at local high schools on health education. Educating young adults about their health and how they can be more involved and informed. She also shares her knowledge and experience with the public by publishing medical advice to the public for free in various forms, such as Facebook, Tweeter, Blogs, and Newsletters to help educate and get people more involved in their health so they can live long and healthy life.

Dr. Goodwin is Board certified in OB/GYN and is a member of Capitol Medical Society. She also speaks Medical Spanish.
